Arctic River Resort occupies its own peninsula on the Ivalo River, just a 20-minute walk from the center of Ivalo and 9 km from Ivalo Airport, close enough for a quick trip into town, yet completely immersed in wild Arctic nature.

The open skies over the river make this one of the best spots around to watch the Northern Lights, while the large windows of our restaurant open onto the terrace and surrounding nature, letting you take it all in from a warm seat inside.

Down by the riverbank, our private sauna offers the perfect way to unwind, Finnish-style, after a day of adventure. It’s a rare combination: your own peaceful peninsula in the wild, with the town of Ivalo just a short stroll away.
